About Michael

Michael operates a private studio in the heart of the Rockdale Arts District located in Aston, Pennsylvania.  Located a few miles from the Philadelphia Airport, his quiet creative space is where he peruses his love of painting and tattooing.

His father was (and still is) his first artistic influence, showing him the basic of drawing from a young age. From there, he followed his love of drawing to high school art classes where he was guided by his best teacher to date, Ms. Bucci. After high school, he briefly studied art at PCAD, but dropped out after 2 years to learn how to tattoo. After his first handful of tattoos on friends and loved ones, he knew he found his calling, and has ”held on tight ever since”.

Now Michael tattoos mostly black and grey illustrative work, usually at large scale, but never turns away the opportunity at a small or medium tattoo.  His focus is on exploring the medium and never relegating himself to one style of imagery. In recent months, he’s began bringing color back into his paintings and tattoos to further explore his craft.
